NDRC Approves Nine Power-Transmission Projects for Central China Grid

The NDRC approved two projects in June:

•The Henan Xinyang power-transmission project
•The Hunan Heimifeng pump-storage power station
These projects have an added transformer capacity of 750 MVA, and 20.8 kilometers of transmission lines were constructed.

The NDRC approved seven projects in August:

•The Henan Luoyang-Pingdingshan-Shaoling power-transmission project
•The Hunan Yiyang power plant Phase II power-transmission project
•The Hubei Dabieshan power-transmission project
These projects have an added transformer capacity of 750 megavolt-amperes (MVA), and 482 kilometers of transmission lines were constructed.

•The Henan Sanmenxia power-transmission project
•The Luoyang South power-transmission project
•The Baoquan pump-storage power station power-transmission project
•The Cangjie substation expansion project
These projects have an added transformer capacity of 1,500 MVA, and 119 kilometers of transmission lines were constructed.

The Central China Grid covers 1.38 million square meters with a population of 380 million in Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan and Chongqing provinces.
