New Waste To Fertilizer Plant Planned For Quebec

Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Incorporated; Houston, Texas). Agronix, Incorporated (OTC BB: ANGI) (Vancouver, British Columbia) plans to construct a new waste to fertilizer plant to be located in Montreal, Quebec (Plant 1059713). Biomax, a joint venture company of Agronix, will be providing the engineering and BRC technology (bio-conversion reactor system) (PEC 60001367).

The new plant, which will begin construction around the second quarter of 2004, will have a maximum feed capacity of 55,000 tons of organic waste and will produce up to 16,000 tons of organic fertilizer products. The new plant should be online and fully operational by mid 2005. The current demand for fertilizer is 140.4 million metric tons and is forecasted to rise to 157.4 metric tons by 2005.

The bio-conversion reactor system is used to produce environmentally friendly, bio-stabilized organic based-fertilizers and soil enhancers along with organic based products for environmental reclamation and remediation. This system can produce organic products in about half the time as conventional processes with no harm to the environment.

Agronix is striving to play a significant role in solving the global problem of organic wastes and the overuse of chemical fertilizers. Untreated organic wastes continue to pose a threat, because of harmful pathogens and heavy metals that are contained and absorbed through plants, animals and humans. The bio-conversion reactor system eliminates that threat by destroying all of the pathogens, parasites and viruses that are found in organic residues.

Agronix, founded in 1999, and was established in order to locate innovative technologies to eliminate the environmental threats that plague our world today.
