Refineria di Korsou Selects Operator for Curacao Refinery, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Refineria di Korsou (RdK), Curacao's state-run petroleum refiner, has selected Curacao Oil Refinery Complex BV (CORC BV), a local company, as a preferred partner to operate the 225,000-barrel-per-day Willemstad Isla Refinery in Curacao.

The memorandum of understanding, which requires CORC BV to start operating the refinery no later than July, is to be signed in the coming weeks. Processing units remain offline due to unplanned events, as well as a lack of crude, financial issues and the COVID-19 pandemic.
