SAFER Systems Announces the 25th Anniversary of SAFER Real-Time®

For over twenty-five years, SAFER Systems (Camarillo, California) has been the global leader in chemical emergency response solutions

Released Wednesday, March 22, 2006

This year, SAFER Real-Time® celebrates 25 years of serving the emergency response community! The flagship software of SAFER Systems, it is unequaled in the marketplace for real-time plume dispersion modeling, plume measurement, and chemical emergency response management. SAFER Real-Time® provides a response system designed to improve the handling of a toxic emission from a loss of containment event. It has been the frontrunner in the industry for innovative modeling technology and was awarded a patent for its Advanced Back Calculation algorithm-based module.

For over twenty-five years, SAFER Systems (Camarillo, California) has been the global leader in chemical emergency response solutions. The company provides Fortune 500 corporations, including Dow, DuPont, GE, and Honeywell, and government entities with emergency response management, consequence analysis, and software engineering. SAFER Systems is a system integrator and can provide a scalable application that may be designed for anything from small repackaging facilities to major industrial sites to entire countries.

To mark the Silver Anniversary of SAFER Real-Time®, SAFER Systems is pleased to announce the Silver Plume Package, offering discounts on new purchases or renewals of software support licenses.

Also planned for 2006 is the release of SAFER Real-Time® version 9.3, which is packed with new features like the jet model for dispersion of gases released from a relief valve or any container under pressure; a particulate model that handles dispersion of particulates with deposition and decay; the ability to draw hot/cold zones, place icons (e.g., ambulance, fire truck, police), and add text to the GIS map; the capability to import scenarios developed in TRACE® into Real-Time®; and the capacity to dynamically change isopleth limits. The software release is planned for early spring.

Customers are encouraged to share in the success of SAFER Real-Time® software’s 25 years of supplying emergency responders with hazardous chemical release management solutions. The Silver Plume Package offers a savings on SAFER Real-Time® software support licenses from February 10 through June 30, 2006.

“This is a great opportunity for customers to save now on support licenses they know are coming due for renewal anytime this year,“ says Mike Teague, SAFER Systems Manager, Sales & Marketing, “and new customers can enjoy anniversary savings on software packages!”
