Shenghong Invests Big in Biodegradable Plastic

A US$4.3 billion biodegradable plastics initiative is part of it. The project will produce 260,000 tons per year of biodegradable plastics and 250,000 tons of carbonates, as well as support the production acetic acid, formaldehyde and other chemicals. The project is located in Yidu City, Hubei Province, and is expected to begin operations in 2025.
