Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Yuhan Corporation (Seoul) is expanding its active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) business through its subsidiary Yuhan Chemical.
After building a new production building (HB building) at its Hwaseong plant in November last year, Yuhan Chemical has been working on the 19.7 billion-won (US$14.7 million) BAY-2 construction in the HB building since the end of last year.
With the goal of completion in December, it is expected to begin full-scale commercial production in March of next year after going through procedures such as commissioning.
