After a brief investigation, plant officials still were unable to isolate the valve that is in need of repair. The plant is owned by Luminant Energy Company LLC (Dallas, Texas), which is in joint administration with Energy Future Holdings Corporation (Dallas).

The coal-fired plant has two generating units and a total generating capacity of 1,251 MW when at full load.
