Dow Chemical, earlier in December, completed planned maintenance on its 948 million-pound-per-year ethylene and 575 million-pound-per-year ethylene glycol units in Seadrift, Texas.

Pemex Petroquimica is performing a maintenance turnaround of the 1,323 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Cagrejera Petrochemical Complex in Veracruz, Mexico. The unit went offline on November 22 for plant maintenance repairs and upgrades to the furnaces. The facility is expected to resume operations in early January.

Pemex Petroquimica's 1,323 million-pound-per-year ethylene cracker unit at its Morelos Petrochemical Complex in Veracruz, Mexico, remains offline. The company decided to halt operations due to lack of natural gas feedstock on October 20, and there is no exact date when the unit will resume operations.

Naphtachimie SNC has completed an unplanned shutdown of the 1,983 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit due to a mechanical failure at its Lavera Ethylene Plant in France.

Mol Petrolkemia Zrt has scheduled a planned maintenance shutdown of its entire Tiszaujvaros Petrochemical Complex in Hungary, beginning the second half of April, with completion expected in mid-May.

Azerikimya PU has rescheduled a planned 40-day plant-wide maintenance turnaround of its Sumgait Chemical Complex in Azerbaijan. The kickoff has tentatively been pushed up to early March.
