Pemex Petroquimica is performing a maintenance turnaround of the 1,323 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Cagrejera Petrochemical Complex in Veracruz, Mexico. The unit went offline on November 22 for plant maintenance repairs and upgrades to the furnaces. The facility is expected to resume operations in early January.
Pemex Petroquimica's 1,323 million-pound-per-year ethylene cracker unit at its Morelos Petrochemical Complex in Veracruz, Mexico, remains offline. The company decided to halt operations due to lack of natural gas feedstock on October 20, and there is no exact date when the unit will resume operations.
