Motiva Enterprises, on March 6, began a 50-to-60-day turnaround of its 1,560 million-pound-per-year LOU ethylene unit in Port Arthur, Texas. The restart is expected at the end of April. During the turnaround, Motiva will perform capital work that aims to increase the unit's capacity by 100 million to 150 million pounds per year.
Indorama Ventures Oxides & Glycols, on March 9, was forced to shut down the operational units at its oxides and olefins plant in Port Neches, Texas, due to a loss of process steam. The restart is expected today.

Abu Dhabi Polymers Company Limited (Borouge) has delayed the restart of the 1,323 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Ruwais Petrochemical Complex (Borouge 1) in Abu Dhabi, due to additional needed repairs. The restart now is expected March 14.
SunAllomer Limited, on March 8, began a 40-day planned turnaround of the 330.6 million-pound-per-year No. 3 Polypropylene (E3) Unit at its Oita Polypropylene Resin plant in Japan. The restart is expected April 16.
Yara France has reduced production on the 400,000-metric-ton-per-year ammonia unit, by 50%, at its Le Havre Fertilizers Chemical Plant in France, due to high natural gas prices caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. A return to full capacity is tentatively scheduled for the end of April.
