Invista, on June 25, shut down its 1,540 million-pound-per-year Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) Unit in Houston, Texas to perform maintenance. The unit currently is expected to remain offline for 10-15 days, with a potential restart on July 9.

ExxonMobil Chemical France SARL, on June 24, shut down the 882 million-pound-per-year steam cracker (ethylene) and propylene units at its Notre-Dame de Gravenchon Chemical Complex in France due to a labor strike. Tentative expectations are to restart the unit at the beginning of July. IIR will continue to monitor the situation and update accordingly.
