American Electric Power Company Incorporated has delayed returning the 1,029-megawatt (MW) Donald C. Cook 02 unit to full load at its Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Station in Michigan to full load. The restart now is expected September 8.

Kansas City Power & Light Company, on August 31, was forced to take the 914-MW Iatan 02 unit offline at its Iatan Power Station in Missouri, in order to repair a boiler induced-draft fan. The restart is expected September 2.

Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD)'s 770-MW Cooper 01 unit at its Cooper Nuclear Power Station in Nebraska is operating at 79% and will coast down until a refueling that is necessary due to a fuel leak in a fuel bundle.
