Phillips 66, on April 22, shut down the 80,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude 2 for three to four weeks of planned maintenance at its 242,000-BBL/d refinery in Lake Charles (Westlake), Louisiana. Separately, the 34,000-BBL/d Reformer 10 and 25,000-BBL/d Isomerization units are under planned maintenance that is expected to be completed by the upcoming weekend.
Valero, on April 22, started a 21-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 36,000-BBL/d Unicracker, 37,000-BBL/d Naphtha HDS, and 35,000-BBL/d Platformer CCR units at its 220,000-BBL/d Bill Greehey West Complex in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Phillips 66, on April 29, expects to complete the restart of the 30,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) 40 and FCCU 26 (Fractionation) unit at its 145,000-BBL/d refinery in Borger, Texas, after completing planned maintenance that began March 19.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), on April 23, began a 25-day planned turnaround of the 15,340-BBL/d Visbreaker Unit 2 at its 300,000-BBL/d Mangalore Refinery in India. The restart is expected by May 17. Separately, the 15,000-BBL/d Visbreaker Unit 1 has been under a planned sympathy shutdown since April 6 and is expected to restart by May 4.
SINOPEC Yangzi Petrochemical Company Limited has extended a planned plant-wide turnaround at its 250,000-BBL/d Nanjing Refinery in Jiangsu, China, which includes 11 major units and other support downstream units. The restart now is expected May 28.
Equinor ASA, on April 23, began a planned 45-day plant-wide maintenance shutdown at its 226,000-BBL/d Mongstad Refinery in Norway. The restart is expected in early June.
