ExxonMobil continues with restart procedures at its 500,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) refinery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after shutting down the plant on May 21 due to a loss of steam from a third-party provider. The 210,000-BBL/d PSLA 10 Crude Unit is online, in hot-oil circulation until secondary units return to service. The facility expects to complete the restart by May 29, except for one of its two 110,000-BBL/d PCLA (Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit) units, which will remain offline for shutdown-induced repairs until the beginning of next week.
