U.S. Power Industry Continues Transition to Renewables, Battery Storage

Industrial Info is tracking more than 39.5 gigawatts of power capacity scheduled to reach commercial operation in 2021, including capacity that has already started operation since the year began.

While batteries aren't considered generation sources of electricity, they still represent more than 10% of capacity scheduled for operation this year.
