Federal Regulators Give Venture Global Permission to Introduce Gas into Louisiana LNG Plant - Federal regulators on Wednesday gave Venture Global LNG (Arlington, Virginia) permission to introduce natural gas into its Plaquemines liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant in Louisiana, documents show, moving the plant a step closer to producing the superchilled gas. The 20 million-metric-ton-per-year Plaquemines LNG plant will be the second-largest U.S. LNG export facility when fully operational. ExxonMobil Expects FID on Mozambique LNG Project in 2026 - Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) (Spring, Texas) now expects a final investment decision (FID) for its Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique in 2026, the company said on Wednesday, pushing back the financial go-ahead by roughly a quarter. U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles Rise - U.S. crude oil inventories rose by 2.1 million barrels to 427.7 million barrels in the week ending November 1, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday. Net U.S. crude oil imports rose by 1.7 million barrels per day (BBL/d), as exports fell by 1.4 million BBL/d to 2.9 million BBL/d, the EIA said. Gasoline stocks rose by 412,000 barrels in the week to 211.3 million barrels, the EIA said. Distillate stockpiles rose by 2.9 million barrels in the week to 115.8 million barrels. (Reuters)
