Vietnam Metals & Minerals Projects Delayed Due to COVID-19, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Vietnam's projects in different Metals & Minerals sectors have been pushed back due constraints caused by the COVID-19 outbreak in Southeast Asia. Commissioning and startup of a glass plant has been delayed for five to six months as several contractors from China, the U.S., and EU countries were unable to go on-site for trial runs due to travel restrictions. Projects for a clinker production line and waste heat power station addition also were delayed as cement companies in the country grapple with low market conditions caused by construction stopping due to government lockdowns.
