Orko Silver Corporation's main asset, the La Preciosa Silver-Gold Project in Mexico's Durango state, gives Coeur d'Alene a large-scale development opportunity that is expected to produce between 7 million and 9 million ounces of silver annually. It will be a key contributor to the production and cash flow of the firm.
Coeur d'Alene has engaged M3 Engineering to prepare a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) that is expected to be completed in the next few months. Feasibility studies are planned to begin in early 2014, followed by engineering work and construction. The mine is expected to be operational in mid-2016.
