Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)-- Aventine Renewable Energy Incorporated (NYSE:AVR ) (Pekin, Illinois) has started construction activity on a $300 million fuel ethanol plant in Aurora, Nebraska. Plans call for construction of a plant that can produce 220 million gallons per year of fuel ethanol in two phases. Phase I of construction involves creating a 113 million-gallon-per-year process train followed by Phase II, an additional 113 million-gallon-per-year train, at a yet-to-be-determined time.
