China's natural gas output reached 14.4 billion cubic meters in May, a jump of 12.9% from the same month last year, according to an announcement from China's National Bureau of Statistics. From January to May 2019, China's natural gas output totaled 72.5 billion cubic meters, an increase of 9.8% from the same period in 2018.
China's natural gas imports reached 7.56 million metric tons in May, a 2% increase from the same month last year. From January to May 2019, China's natural gas imports totaled 39.43 million metric tons, an increase of 13.4% from the same period in 2018.
