The Upper Mamquam River project has a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to sell about 98.2-Gigawatt hours (GWh) of power annually to the provincial owned utility B C Hydro Power and Authority (BC Hydro) (Vancouver, British Columbia).

Another Calgary firm, Canadian Projects Limited, constructed Upper Mamquam River Hydro in the fourth quarter of 2003. The Upper Mamquam River project includes two 12.5-MW Litostroj E.I. (Ljubljana, Slovenia) horizontal axis double Francis turbine generators. This run–of-the-river project is considered unmanned (operated from a remote location) and is maintained by a two-person crew.
