Dominion Slashes CEO's Payout on Long-Term Goals - Dominion Energy Incorporated (NYSE:D) (Richmond, Virginia) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Blue missed out on taking home more than $4 million in cash after the utility's shareholder return and operating profit during 2022-24 failed to meet performance targets. Blue received $438,240, just 9% of the potential target payout of nearly $5 million, the company disclosed on Friday in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. (Reuters)

U.S. Drillers Cut Rigs - U.S. energy firms last week cut the number of oil and natural gas rigs operating for the first time in three weeks, energy services firm Baker Hughes Company (NASDAQ:BKR) (Houston, Texas) said. The oil and gas rig count fell by one to 592 in the week ending March 28. Baker Hughes said oil rigs fell by two to 484 last week, while gas rigs rose by one to 103. (Reuters)

EU Ban on Russian LNG Re-exports Comes into Effect - The European Union's (EU) ban on re-exporting Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) via EU ports, which aims to reduce Moscow's revenues after its invasion of Ukraine, came into effect last week. The ban, which prohibits the reloading of Russian cargoes at EU ports for export to third countries, was imposed in June 2024, with a moratorium until March 26, 2025, for contracts signed before June 25 last year. (Reuters)
