One company DPR is almost certainly glad to be working for is Facebook parent company Meta Platforms Incorporated (NASDAQ:META) (Menlo Park, California). DPR is at work on more than $2 billion worth of projects for Meta. Among the largest of these is Project Huckleberry in Mesa, Arizona. The project entails constructing two data center buildings totaling 960,000 square feet to increase space and meet demand for Facebook services. Meta has announced plans to construct three other buildings at the site. Construction on the initial two buildings kicked off last summer, with DPR providing general contracting services, and is expected to wrap up in late 2023. Subscribers to Industrial Info's Global Market Intelligence (GMI) Industrial Manufacturing project database can click here for the detailed project report and here for all of the Meta projects on which DPR is at work.

DPR also has $1 billion worth of active data center projects for other companies, such as a brownfield data center in San Francisco, California, being developed by Fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty LLC (Matawan, New Jersey), which is in the process of wrapping up. The project, which kicked off in 2018, included demolishing an existing 90,400-square-foot building and constructing a two-story, 187,000-square-foot data center building as well as renovating two other buildings to provide office and mechanical equipment space. While not at work on one of the company's many data centers, DPR Construction is at work on at least one project for e-commerce and cloud computing giant Amazon.com Incorporated (NASDAQ:AMZN) (Seattle, Washington). DPR is providing general contracting services for a grassroot Amazon fulfillment center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The project kicked off earlier this year and upon completion will include a six-story, 2.8 million-square-foot distribution center with 327 truck parking spaces to help expand Amazon's regional fulfillment and distribution operations. The facility is expected to begin operations late next year. Subscribers can click here for the detailed report.

Alongside DPR's expertise in the Industrial Manufacturing Industry is its well-known competence in the Pharmaceutical-Biotech field. In 2021, Engineering News-Record ranked DPR as the No. 1 contractor for pharma projects in the nation. DPR is at work on more than $4 billion worth of Pharma-Biotech projects. Among those set to wrap up in the coming months is a facility for Astellas Pharma Incorporated (Tokyo, Japan) in Sanford, North Carolina, about 45 miles southwest of Raleigh. The facility will be used to manufacture gene therapies targeting neuromuscular diseases. Construction kicked off in mid-2020 and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year. Subscribers to Industrial Info's Pharma-Biotech Project Database can click here for the project report.

Among DPR's numerous other Pharma-Biotech projects is a research and development building addition for Edwards Lifesciences Corporation's (Irvine, California) work on artificial heart valves in Irvine, California. The construction of the 245,000-square-foot LEED-certified building is the first phase of a three-phase expansion project and will include not only space for the research and development of artificial heart valves and related products, but also a 2,150-square-foot museum. The project kicked off in 2019 and is expected to be completed in late summer 2023. Subscribers can click here for the report.
