Saudi Polymers Company remains on schedule to begin a 30-day maintenance turnaround of the 2,568 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit on October 23 at its Jubail Complex in Saudi Arabia. The restart is expected by November 21. The turnaround was originally scheduled for last year, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Qatar Petrochemical Company Q.S.C. has accelerated a 65-day planned turnaround of the 1,587 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Umm Sa'id Complex in Qatar. The turnaround began on October 12, and the restart is expected by December 15.
GAIL India Limited is planning a 30-day maintenance turnaround of the 992 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit, which will begin March 17, 2023, at its Auraiya (Pata) Petrochemical Complex in India. The restart is expected by April 15, 2023.
