India's Adani Green Signs PPA to Supply 4.6 GW of Renewable Energy

The deal is touted as one of the world's largest green energy PPAs to date. During the recent COP 26 Summit in Glasgow, Scotland, Indian Prime Minster Narendra Modi announced that India would install 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030. India is expected to see more investment in solar projects, which will boost the domestic solar panel manufacturing sector, which is currently dominated by Chinese materials and technologies.
