Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Janicki Industries (Sedro-Woolley, Washington) will build a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Layton, Utah, to support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program headed by Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) (Bethesda, Maryland).
The $19.5 million facility will make precision composites for the military aircraft. Janicki expects to start construction in June this year and hopes to have the plant operational by March 2011.
Big D Construction Corporation (Salt Lake City, Utah) was selected by Janicki Industries to perform construction for the manufacturing plant. Lynn Woodward Electric (Ogden, Utah) will perform the electrical work for the plant.
