Middle East Region Supports Major Industrial Expansion

A recent survey of Industrialinfo.com's database revealed over $43 billion in new and expanded plant construction for the Middle East region reported during the past twelve months. The survey focused on four industries; Power, Chemical Processing, Petroleum Refining, and Metals & Minerals. The chemical processing industry leads the way with 71 projects representing over $17 billion. The power industry followed closely with 36 projects representing over $16 billion.
