PETsMART Incorporated (NYSE:PETM) (Phoenix, Arizona), the #1 United States specialty retailer of pet food and supplies, is currently looking at sites for the construction of a new distribution warehouse in Georgia.

Plans are to construct a one million square foot warehouse distribution center by the beginning of 2007. The project has not been approved, but it is estimated to be valued between $30-$60 million dollars. No architectural firm or general contractor has been selected. PETsMART should make a site selection by the end of September 2005 and a design-build contractor will be awarded sometime thereafter, in the fall of 2005. Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2006, with overall completion slated for the spring of 2007.
