Plains All American Pipeline LP (NYSE:PAA)Plains All American Pipeline LP (Houston, Texas) has started construction on its Paulsboro, New Jersey refined petroleum products storage terminal expansion. The new expansion will consist of the construction of eight new aboveground storage tanks. The new tanks will range in size from 90,000 barrels to 150,000 barrels and will total approximately one million barrels in new storage capacity. The new tanks will store a variety of products including gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.

Plains All American Pipeline awarded the civil, tank construction, electrical, and mechanical contracts to Matrix Service Incorporated (NASDAQ:MTRX) (Tulsa, Oklahoma), and Plains awarded the engineering contract to the Houston, Texas office of WorleyParsons. The civil work for the expansion project began on August 31 of 2007 with a completion date targeted for the last of the eight tanks set for April 2009.
