Republic of Congo Prepares for Liquefied Natural Gas Production

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Eni (NYSE:E) (Rome, Italy) is developing offshore natural gas fields that are a part of the Marine XII block, off the coast of the Republic of Congo.

Development and modification works are planned at the Marine XII block in order to supply feed natural gas for the upcoming Tango floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) vessel and the Marine XII FLNG II vessel. Tango FLNG is scheduled to produce 0.6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas by the end of 2023. The Marine XII FLNG II is expected to come online by the end of 2025 with a production capacity of 2.4 MTPA.
