NATURAL GAS
U.S. Natural Gas Futures Hit Three-Week High - U.S. natural gas futures rose to their highest in nearly three weeks on Tuesday, ending the best quarter since June 2018, as forecasts for hotter-than-normal weather increased demand for cooling. August futures rose 4.2 cents, or 2.5%, to settle at $1.751 per million British thermal units, having jumped more than 14% on Monday, the biggest daily gain since January 2019. Prices gained nearly 7% in the second quarter.

U.S. Crude Oil Production Falls to 12.1 Million Barrels per Day in April - U.S. crude oil production dropped 669,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) to 12.06 million BBL/d in April, the government said in a monthly report on Tuesday. The decline came as production fell 234,000 BBL/d in Texas, the largest oil-producing state, and 195,000 BBL/d in North Dakota. Output fell 16,000 BBL/d in federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico, the report said. (Reuters)
ConocoPhillips to Bring Back Some Curtailed Production - This Reuters article discusses how ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) said on Tuesday it would bring back some of its curtailed production in July. ConocoPhillips said it would revive production in the Lower 48 region during July, while in Surmont, Alberta, it would increase output from curtailed levels in the third quarter. The company had announced the biggest cuts by any North American producer in April, reducing its output by 460,000 BBL/d by June. (Reuters)
