Rubber Compounder Prepares For Startup of Grassroot Plant in Ohio

Rice-Chadwick Rubber Company (Killbuck, Ohio), a privately owned and operated company is planning for the startup of a new plant in Loudonville, Ohio. Rice-Chadwick has been satisfying their warehouse needs from a new building they constructed at this site last year. The first of several future production lines has been installed and is being used for training while in operation for production of test and sample product. Commissioning for the extrusion line is expected in the next few months.

This will be Rice-Chadwick's second production plant in Ohio producing extruded rubber. Future plans for the new site in Loudonville include up to eight salt bath cure production lines over the next several years.
