Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)-- TEPPCO Partners LP (NYSE:TPP) (Houston, Texas) is constructing the second and final phase of the Bridger compressor station expansion 20 miles west of Farson, Wyoming. Construction on the second expansion phase began in late June 2007. Phase II of the Bridger expansion is the second part of the Jonah Phase V expansion program, which had involved the installation of 67,500 horsepower of compression at the Bridger compressor station and the construction of an 87-mile pipeline looping project that was recently completed, raising the natural gas output of the Jonah system to 2 bcf/d.
TEPPCO Partners LP has awarded the E+P+C contract for the Phase II Bridger expansion to Houston office of BE&K Engineering Company. BE&K Engineering will oversee the installation of three 34,000-horsepower compressor units totaling 102,000 horsepower at the Bridger compressor station.
The Jonah Gas Gathering system, in the Green River Basin of southwestern Wyoming, comprises more than 700 miles of pipelines, which gather natural gas from more than 1,200 producing wells in the Jonah and Pinedale fields. Based on proven reserves, the Pinedale and Jonah fields are the second and sixth largest domestic natural gas fields.
