A subsidiary of Thailand's oil and gas company PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) plans to decommission between 90 and 100 minimum-facility platforms in the Gulf of Thailand.

Minimum-facility platforms normally are unmanned and operated remotely, to lower the risk to personnel and cost.
