Braskem is performing a 40-day maintenance turnaround of the 450 million-pound-per-year green ethylene unit at its Triunfo plant in Brazil. The unit went offline for maintenance work and the implementation of a unit expansion project that is aimed at boosting the green ethylene production capacity to 573 million metric tons per year. The unit is planned to remain offline until February 20.
