American Electric Power Company Incorporated plans to return the 1,029-megawatt (MW) Donald C. Cook 02 unit at its Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Station in Michigan to full load by the end of the week after conducting coolant pump repairs.

Dominion Generation has moved out the restart of the 979-MW North Anna 02 unit at its North Anna Nuclear Power Station in Virginia. Dominion was in the process of repairing a reactor coolant pump seal when a transformer fire occurred. The restart now is expected September 4.

Duke Energy Progress LLC, on August 28, was forced to take the Shearon Harris 01 unit offline at its Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Station in North Carolina after the B train's main feedwater pump tripped. The event is expected to end August 31.
