BP Products North America Incorporated has returned its 102,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) New Delayed Coker unit to normal operations following the completion of a three-week planned turnaround at its 410,000-BBL/d Whiting, Indiana, refinery that began in early November.
Suncor Energy Incorporated will perform a 40-day planned turnaround on the 65,000-BBL/d Crude 1, Vacuum and 30,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) at its 130,000-BBL/d refinery in Montreal, Quebec, in early April 2022, instead of September, as previously reported.
International
Alexandria National Refining and Petrochemicals Company (ANRPC) has restarted the 14,000-BBL/d Naphtha Hydrotreater 1, 19,000-BBL/d Naphtha Hydrotreater 2, 10,800-BBL/d Reformer 1, 10,800-BBL/d Reformer 2 and 11,000-BBL/d Isomerization Unit at its ANRPC Alexandria Refinery in Egypt. The units had been under a 30-day planned maintenance turnaround since November 1.
Idemitsu Kosan Company restarted the lone crude unit today at its 160,000-BBL/d Aichi Japan Refinery. The unit has been under a maintenance shutdown since September 14. The restarts of the 20,000-BBL/d Reformer and the 60,000-BBL/d Residual Hydrotreater occurred on November 23 and December 5, respectively. Separately, the 50,000-BBL/d Residual Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (RFCCU), which has been under a maintenance shutdown since September 16, is scheduled to restart on December 7.
Repsol Peru's plans for repairs at its 110,000-BBL/d La Pampilla, Peru, refinery. The 80,000-BBL/d Crude 2, 36,000-BBL/d Vacuum 2 and associated units will undergo a 40-day planned turnaround beginning in March, instead of February 2022, as previously reported. The 30,000-BBL/d Crude 1 turnaround will occur in 2023.
