EIA: U.S. Crude Oil Output Declined in January - U.S. crude oil production dropped in January to 12.5 million barrels per day (BBL/d), a 6% decline from December's record high, following freezing weather, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed on Friday. Crude oil output in top oil state Texas fell in January to 5.4 million BBL/d, down about 5% from the prior month, the data showed, while production in North Dakota fell nearly 13% to 1.1 million BBL/d. Virginia Regulators Approve Dominion Solar Projects - Virginia utility regulators on Friday approved new solar projects with a total of 764 megawatts (MW) of capacity that will expand Dominion Energy Incorporated's (NYSE:D) (Richmond, Virginia) clean energy portfolio in the U.S. state. The more than a dozen projects approved by the Virginia State Corporation Commission included four solar facilities amounting to 329 MW that will either be owned or acquired by Dominion, as well as power purchase agreements for independently-owned solar projects that will deliver 435 MW of capacity in total. March U.S. LNG Exports Decline - U.S. exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) fell slightly in March to 7.61 million metric tons (MT) from 7.73 MT in February, preliminary data from financial firm LSEG showed on Monday. (Reuters)
