Vattenfall, Nordex to Build Two Windfarms in the Netherlands, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Vattenfall has commissioned Nordex Group to build 13 large turbines for a pair of windfarms in the Netherlands, totaling 49 megawatts (MW).

Nordex received an order in the fourth quarter from Vattenfall for the 22-MW Haringvliet project, which comprises six N117 / 3675 turbines, and the 27-MW Moerdijk project, which comprises seven N131 / 3900 turbines. The deal includes a two-year premium service contract for both windfarms, with the option of a subsequent, 23-year extension.
