West Coast Olefins Eyes New Investment in Western Canada, an Industrial Info Market Brief

West Coast Olefins recently announced plans to construct a chemical complex in Prince George, British Columbia. The new complex is expected to consist of a new 5,500-cubic-meter-per-day natural gas liquids recovery unit, a 1 million-ton-per-year ethylene unit and 1 million-ton-per-year polyethylene unit. While this project is still in an early design phase, current plans are to complete the construction the $5.6 billion petrochemical complex by the fourth quarter of 2023.
