On July 1, bid documents were released for the procurement of spare parts needed for a hot gas path inspection to be performed in September on the TG-2 unit of Dos Bocas Combined-Cycle Power Plant. That unit consists of a 77-megawatt (MW) Siemens Westinghouse W501B3 natural gas-fired combustion turbine/generator set, with a Cerrey heat-recovery steam generator attached.
On July 6, CFE released the documents for acquisition of spare parts for major maintenance work on units 1 and 2 of Central Termoeléctrica Guadalupe Victoria. Both units consist of one Ansaldo 160-MW condensing steam turbine, driven by a Mitsubishi Power System fuel oil-fired boiler.
The maintenance will take place between September and November this year.
Finally, on July 7 the bid documents for major maintenance at Unit 5 were released for the Central Termoeléctrica Presidente Plutarco Elías Calles. The winning company will be in charge of the provision of the equipment and spare parts, as well as the execution of the maintenance works at the steam generator, the turbine/generator set, the electrical area, the instrumentation, auxiliary equipment and civil area of the unit.
The opening of proposals will take place on July 22, and the works should be executed in 55 days, starting on August 2.
Presidente Plutarco Elías Calles Power Plant consists of six 350-MW steam turbines with coal-fired boilers. Unit 5 has a balanced-draft, forced-circulation steam generator and a condensing steam turbine/generator set, both manufactured by Mitsubishi Power Systems.
