Nigeria leads among African nations with plans to add three kerosene hydrotreater or sweetening units by 2025, which will have a combined capacity of 93,400 BBL/d. Similarly, Egypt plans to add five hydrotreater units, which will produce a total of 51,675 BBL/d and will be operational by the end of 2027. Angola intends to add 15,500 BBL/d by 2028.
