Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) recently started construction on a bio-refinery in Bragarh, India, to produce advanced ethanol. Toyo Engineering is performing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.

The plant will produce 100 kiloliters per day of advanced ethanol from agricultural waste, using processing technology from Braj Industries. It is expected to begin operations by the end of 2020.
