China's Crude Oil Output Up 2.7% in September 2015
China's oil production increased 2.7% for the first three quarters of 2015

Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--China produced 17.74 million metric tonnes of crude oil in September, a 2.7% increase from the same month last year. For the nine-month period from January through September 2015, China's accumulative output of crude oil reached 160.84 million metric tonnes, a 2.7% increase from the same period in 2014. Output of in the first, second and third quarters totaled 52.18 million metric tonnes, 53.85 million metric tonnes and 54.81 million metric tonnes, respectively.
China imported 27.95 million metric tonnes of crude oil in September. From January through September, China imported 248 million metric tonnes, an 8.8% increase from the same nine months of 2014.
Processing of crude oil reached 42.43 million metric tonnes, an increase of 0.5%. Processing for the first nine months of 2015 reached 388.21 million metric tonnes, a 4.5% increase from the same period last year.
China's output of natural gas reached 960 million cubic meters in September, an increase of 1.1%. From January through September, China's natural gas output reached 93.1 billion cubic meters, a 2.8% increase. Output in the first, second and third quarters reached 33.6 billion cubic meters, 29.4 billion cubic meters and 30.1 billion cubic meters, respectively.
China's consumption of natural gas fell during the first three quarters of this year, due to the fall in oil prices and slower economic growth. It is expected that production and consumption of natural gas in China will increase in future years.
