Citizens Gas & Coke Utilities Moves Closer to Constructing Heartland Pipeline
Construction is expected to be completed and the new pipeline placed into service by late in 2005

Citizens Gas & Coke Utilities (CGCU) (Indianapolis, Indiana) moved a step closer to constructing its Heartland natural gas pipeline by retaining the services of Mustang Engineering (Houston, Texas) for project engineering. CGCU has proposed to construct 25.2 miles of 16" diameter natural gas transmission pipeline. The pipeline, with a capacity of 80 million standard cubic feet per day, will extend from its Johnstown natural gas storage facility, located in Worthington, Indiana, to an interconnect with Midwestern Gas Pipeline.
