Colorado Interstate Gas Company Plans a New Pipeline Expansion
To provide adequate compression to move the predicted 100 million cubic feet a day of extra capacity Colorado Interstate will modify several existing compressor stations.

Colorado Interstate Gas Company (Colorado Springs, Colorado), a subsidiary of El Paso Corporation (NYSE: EP)(Houston, Texas), is planning to expand natural gas transmission capacity on the existing pipeline from its Kim compressor station in Colorado to its Beaver County compressor station in Oklahoma. Colorado Interstate estimates that the Little Campo Lateral expansion will cost approximately $60 million. The company plans to begin construction in 2005.
Colorado Interstate expects to bid-out the construction contracts during the first quarter of 2005 and has targeted completion of the Little Campo Lateral project by June 1, 2005.
