Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) (Houston, Texas) plans to construct a 1.6 million-square-foot technology center in Louisville, Colorado, which will include more than 500,000 square feet of research and development space and 500,000 square feet of administrative office space. ConocoPhillips purchased the 432-acre site in 2008 for $55.6 million.
The site is located at the Northwest Corner of US 36 and northwest Parkway. The company is planning to commence construction within nine months to one year and complete the construction by 2013. Hellmuth, Obata, and Kassabaum (St. Louis, Missouri) is currently doing design work for the learning center. ConocoPhillips will select a construction manager by March 2011 to perform construction services.
