Chevron's Gorgon Resumes Operations After Outage - Production at Chevron Corporation's (NYSE:CVX) (San Ramon, California) $54 billion Gorgon liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project has safely resumed operations following a temporary shutdown last week, a company spokesman said on Monday. (Reuters)

China's October Oil Output Lowest Since May 2009 - China's daily crude oil production in October fell to the lowest in more than seven years, statistics bureau data showed on Monday. Oil output last month in China, the world's second-largest crude consumer, dropped 11.3% from the same time a year ago to 16.05 million tonnes. (Reuters)

Company Wants to Restart Alabama Nuclear Project - Nuclear Development LLC, the buyer of Tennessee Valley Authority's Bellefonte nuclear plant in Hollywood, Alabama, plans to invest as much as $13 billion to complete the plant with work starting in 2017, the company said in a statement Monday. (Bloomberg)
