Joint Venture to Construct Eagle Ford NGL Processing Plant
- Targa Resources Partners (Houston, Texas) and Sanchez Oil & Gas Company (Houston) have formed a joint venture to construct a natural gas liquids (NGL) processing plant and pipelines in the Eagle Ford Shale.

Shell Starts Up 50,000-BBL/d Nigeria Expansion - Royal Dutch Shell plc (NYSE:RDS.A) (The Hague, Netherlands) started up the 50,000-barrel-per-day third phase of its Bonga field off the coast of Nigeria. Shell owns 55% of the project, Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XMO) (Irving, Texas) owns 20%, and Total SA (NYSE:TOT) (Paris, France) and Eni SpA (NYSE:E) (Rome, Italy) each own 12.5%.

Suncor Makes Offer for Canadian Oil Sands Ltd.
- Suncor Energy Incorporated (NYSE:SU) (Calgary, Alberta) has made a formal, unsolicited offer to purchase Canadian Oil Sands Limited (Calgary) for about US$3.3 billion.

BP Files for $20.8 Billion Settlement - BP plc (NYSE:BP), Gulf Coast states and the U.S. Justice Department came a step closer to resolving disputes over the Deepwater Horizon disaster as a $20.8 billion settlement was announced on Monday.

CRUDE OIL
Saudi Aramco Cuts Oil Prices to Asia
- Saudi Aramco (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) reduced its selling price of Medium grade to Asia in November to $3.20 below benchmark pricing, compared to $1.30 below the benchmark in October.
