According to Chief Executive Officer Kelly Tomblin, EPE is seeing a 2% customer base growth year over year. EPE's resources planning studies project a capacity need of 175 to 225 megawatts (MW) before May 1, 2025. In addition, new generation assets are needed to replace EPE's retirements of older, less efficient units.
