UPC and AC Renewables have announced the appointment of Elecnor as the major contractor to build the 720-megawatt New England Solar Farm in New South Wales, Australia. Elencor also won the maintenance and operations contract for the project for the first two years of its operation. Construction of the project is planned to commence in 2021 and up generate 700 jobs for the community.
